Hi,

how do you read the heightmap in the mission editor ?

normal color = low,

light green = heigher

dark green = even heigher ?

do they colors have corrosponding values in meters ?

i found i have alot difficulties designing missions around areas with mountains and general variance in height. usually in the game it turns out

a sceneary looks completly different from how i thought it would look. :D

You can read the altitude in meters for the spots you are holding your mouse over in the mission editor.

What you want to focus on are the iso lines, not the colors though. Colors in the mission editor will indicate things as forestation and so on as well and that can throw you off. Just check with the mouse pointer and follow the contour lines.
