What do I need to look for in the log file to clear the outdated mods since the latest patch?

Hi Brian,
according to your logfile there are multiple files are causing trouble:

Those for example (besides others)

2024-03-04 22:42:37.285 ERROR   Scripting (Main): DUPLICATE not allowed :weapons.shells.SVINGGR86Z,    from    C:\Users\brian\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods/tech/Grkpbv 90/Database/Vehicles/Grkpbv90.lua
2024-03-04 22:42:37.285 ERROR   Scripting (Main): plugin: GRKPBV90 unit replace Grkpbv90 not allowed

2024-03-04 22:42:37.287 ERROR   ED_SOUND (Main): can't open proto file "/sounds/52/sdef/helicopterfan.sdef"
2024-03-04 22:42:37.287 ERROR   ED_SOUND (Main): failed to load sdef HelicopterFan referenced in /sounds/52/sdef/rotor.sdef
2024-03-04 22:42:37.292 INFO    SOUND (Main): Added sound path: C:\Users\brian\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods/tech/HKP15B/Sounds
2024-03-04 22:42:37.299 ERROR   Scripting (Main): plugin: HKP15B unit replace HKP15B not allowed

So I assume those must be CH military assets as well as the civil asset pack. Both are known to cause some conflicts at a point. I'd propose to load the latest version and/ or test with disabling those mods to find out.

Cheers

hi,

Witch mod was the last installed ? You have all CH mods, did you erase all previous version of his mods ? what kind of mod is "GRKPBV 90 or HKP15B ?

HKP15B is from the Swedish assets not sure of the other. I need to learn how to identify which ones are broken so I can remove/update them. Not sure of which versions I have or deleted.

It's very hard to identify the mod causing the issue, the DCS log is sometimes fishy, detecting lots of "WARNING EDCORE" or "ERROR" but mods are working fine...
There is something that may be the issue you are looking for at this line :

2024-03-04 22:42:37.318 ALERT   Dispatcher (Main): Error running db_scan: dublicate sensor :Sea Giraffe AMB surface

I had got some problems with duplicate radar sensor between two mods that were the problem for me, you will have to find this radar (Sea Giraffe AMB surface) in a "file".lua in the "sensor" folder of the concerned mod.

If it doesn't work, I will recomened first to remove the last mods added one by one.. if unsuccessful, try removing all mods and putting the mods one by one to identify the problem.....i know it may be very long (I have 120 mods installed....)

I probably have about the same. I think I'll uninstall them all for now, I just put 3 mods in because I wanted to use some static templates, NATO Personnel and Items (by Suntsag) / VPC Airfield Equipment / WWII MarstonMat.

The game started so I thought success, but when making a mission, after loading a few templates I could no longer use the ammo screen, the saved mission would no longer appear in saved mission files and whatever I tried to do after I left the mission editor the game would just hang with no crash. Very weird.

On the ammo screen but it never shows.
