dmatt76 Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 (edited) Since last update I have problems with starting engine from a cold start. Sometimes it is working fine, sometimes after switching ENG start nothing happnes except letters ON on the engine screen on MFD. Ng% does not change. Did anything change in cold start logic or is it bug with certain loadouts? I cannot do it when I set a start from a ramp in the mission editor, I did manage to start the engines after loading instant action cold start, but after a few tries... Solution Zyll Posted March 12, 2024 Solution Posted March 12, 2024 Are you high (altitude) or hot? The Apache does have challenges starting under extreme conditions. If so, I have a video on this: Zyll @ TAW 2
dmatt76 Posted March 12, 2024 Author Posted March 12, 2024 Thanks, I was in Nevada in Tonopah It really works with air supply. Still I dont rememeber this being mentioned in the patch notes, and if it is a intentional change, it should be even mentioned in a video... 1
Floyd1212 Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 It's a known bug, that will hopefully get fixed one day. Another workaround that is mentioned in that thread when ground air is not available, is to move your cyclic around after starting the engine(s). The APU off/on method doesn't always work for me. 1
