Wasn't quite sure if I understood your update. QuadViews Companion doesn't work with the Quad Views in the PimaxPlay, so any settings you have in there won't be taking effect. You need to install the Quad-Views-Foveated API layer and use that instead if you want to use the Companion app.

I need to update the screen shots but the Quad Views in the Pimax Play should be unchecked.  You'll want to install Quad Views from https://github.com/mbucchia/Quad-Views-Foveated/releases  Been using it for a couple days and works good so far with https://github.com/TallyMouse/QuadViewsCompanion/releases/tag/quadviews 1.0.12

I've just a couple of annoyances left. Here is one:
Menu in DCS is 90° off.
Horizontal calibration does not help. -Must press "5" at every startup.

On your Pimax controller, headset and controller on, press the button with the Pimax logo on it, that should activate a window in which, bottom-left, you can recentre the headset. I think holding that button down also recentres the headset without the window popping up. It might fix your issue as it fixes my NSXR being out of whack occasionally. 
Obviously be wearing the headset and facing forward.

Great post. I didn't know we could use Mbccia's QuadViews with the Pimax OpenXR runtime. 

With Quadviews sharpening at 70 set in the companion app, are you still sharpening in DCS at .5 as shown in the screenshot?

I've been generally unhappy with the results of my own endless tweaking, so I went ahead and copied your settings exactly sans DCS shadows & SSAO/SSLR. I was maintaining 90 fps previously, and still am; however, the image looks and feels better. 

I could be imagining it, but I'm happy to attribute it to your blend of settings.

Thanks.  Actually with DLSS 4.0 a bunch has changed so updated the first post.  Give those a shot.  Been VERY happy with DLSS 4.0 now and getting much steadier FPS.

Can you please confirm this. If I uninstall PimaxXR Runtime - DCS won't show in my Crystal light. Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong - or whether PimaxXR is supposed to remain?

Hmm, I have the OG Pimax Crystal not a Crystal Light.  The PimaxXR Runtime was a version from about two years ago.  Removing that line.  I think there's a version that gets installed with newer Pimax Play, that one is fine.
