Converse72 Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 (edited) HI there I run DCS on an: i9 12900K computer with 32Gb RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti graphics card and I use a Met Pro VR Headset. UP until about a week ago, all was great. Then it completely stopped working, it would not go past the loading page before crashing. I could not work out why and so I updatd everything I could in windows and then uninstalled and re-installed DCS. It worked great in a straight foward DCS world start up. I then ticked the enable VR headset button in the game menu to try it out in VR and now it will not start and I am back to square one. Any ideas? I am desperate to have a fly and I cannot get anywhere. Any help would be awesome. Sean Edited March 17, 2024 by Converse72

diego999 Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 No problem man. I was lucky enought to catch that thread before my own Oculus app updated to v63. But it's a serious issue for many people at the moment.

Tweety777 Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 Are there any updates on this yet? I'm having the same problem. I'm eager to get back to VR flying since I just upgraded from very struggling RTX2060 (in VR that is, normal DCS with all upgrades from last year works fine) to a RX 7900XTX which is really overkill on a 165HZ screen in normal DCS. AMD Ryzen 5700X3D, RX7900 XTX, 48GB 27" 1440P monitor and Oculus Quest 2. WinWing Orion 2 w/ FA18 throttle, VKB Gladiator EVO w/ F14 grip, Logitech G rudder pedals, TrackIR 5, WinWing MFD (2x), WinWing UFC and Voice Attack. Planes: F14A/B Tomcat, mostly the B, F/A 18 C Hornet, F4E Phantom II, F16 Fighting Falcon Modules/ maps: Super carrier, Nevada, Persian Gulf, Kola
Phantom711 Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 There is a deficated sticky on that topic here in the VR forum. Short answer is „No, but there are workarounds“ vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord.
Tweety777 Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 Thanks, since I use an Oculus Quest 2 I didn't look for it under Rift but found it now.
