LastRifleRound Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Sorry i meant specifically that since INU does not accumulate errors, there is really no need for Position fixing. There also seems to be no incentive nor need to change a flight plan mid-mission aside from intentionally throwing triggers off. EDIT: Also, the "Rubber band" effect has been confirmed, and will def. be in the patch, so i'm not sure how i could be incorrect. Could you clarify?
GGTharos Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Correct - that is a mission design issue. You could make a flight plan with 30 WP's but people won't bother entering this into the PVI, they'll just 'fly by ABRIS'. Even if you pork the satellites for that mission, the PVI provides positional information to the ABRIS. LastRifleRound Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Wait, so the PVI keeps the ABRIS straightened out? In another thread I was told that screwed up sat. constellations do mess up positional info on the ABRIS.....
