FirstDawn Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 I have 2 monitors. On my main monitor I play DCS World. My second one I use for reading the manual of a plane while playing. But, when i want to go to my second monitor for lets say scrolling down the manual, DCS minimizes to desktop on my main monitor. To make it short, I can't do anything on my second monitor without DCS minimizing on my main monitor. I know to solve this problem by disabling Full Screen option, but then DCS runs without taking up the entire screen, which is not the intention. Can anyone please tell me how to solve this? Thank you very much!
Tippis Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 It truly should just be a matter of not checking the full screen box. Is DCS set to the full resolution of your primary monitor? This seems to be the determining factor as to whether it runs in borderless mode or not — if the display and game resolutions don't match, then it's either “real” full-screen or, obviously, in a window with all its decorations. 1 ❧ ❧ Inside you are two wolves. FirstDawn Posted April 17, 2024 Author Posted April 17, 2024 Tippis thank you for replying! I have solved the problem, by setting my game resolution to 2560*1600. However, that is higher than my display resolution, which is 2560*1400. DCS takes up the full screen now and I can use my second monitor without DCS minimizing. But, I probably have to lower my graphics settings now. Anyway, thank you.
Tippis Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Good that it worked out. It would be nice to have a more explicit borderless setting rather than hoping it sets itself right with the resolution relative to the desktop, but there you go. ❧ ❧ Inside you are two wolves.
