Would I have to deactivate just to change a GFX card.

I have a card which is finally back from RMA but I installed DCS whilst on my spare GFX card, so does this equate to a major hardware change?:helpsmilie:

See if the software asks you for an activation when you turn it on. Just because it asks doesn't mean you have to ;)

In that case, if it does ask, follow the instructions to deactivate.

If you haven't changed any other hardware components you should be good to go, at least when i switched from a 1900 to a 4850 i did not have to reactivate. You can search the user faq thread just to be sure, though. It's listed there what hardware change takes up how many points. If you're over a certtain amount of points, a reactivation is due.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.
