How much time mission editors spend to design FARP from zero at new missions? So my request here is:

1-The ability to make static objects as template (like ground unit), so when designing new missions i can put the static template of the FARP wherever the editor wants.

2-The ability to select multi objects on mission editor (hold left click on mouse drag and select many objects),so it will be easy to move them on map and not select them one be one.

3-3D viewer on editor. So editors do not have to run missions every time when the place new objects.

Re 1: You can. just not with the 'template' system on the left tool bar. Go to the menu bar and click EDIT and SAVE STATIC TEMPLATE.

That should give you what you need.

Re 2: You can multiselect. Use LHMB + LSHIFT. but you can't drag them all at once, and this will never happen in the current mission editor, it's virtually impossible without a huge amount of rewriting.

Thanks for the answer mate.Maybe i did not write correct my request so i changes them again. I would like to make a static template so i can spawn it with my mouse when i click it on different locations. The way you told me i can only spawn it on specific location.

I would suggest then, that you change the title and original post to specify that this current behaviour is a bug. Your original post was that you couldn't create or save/load templates of static objects - but as I've shown you, you can.

What you're highlighting is that they don't drop where you last clicked the map, but at the original or some other arbitrary point and then you have to manually move them.

That's the 'bug' I think needs fixing.

And if you keep one bug report to one thing, it's easier to track - for us and for ED.

The 'wish list' item of 3d map can't happen the way this M.E. has been built. I'm in fully agreement with you, but it needs a dedicated, separate and modern Mission Editor for that to work. So it's best tagged onto the existing wish list item as a comment then a new one.

Just my 2p.
