OldFlyer Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 I usually use a gamma of around 2 which works well in 2D but for VR (Quest 3) feels very washed out. Note: I do use reshade in 2D. In the F15E the perfect way to combat this is using the helmet visor but that's not available in the F18 and F16 sadly. What gamma setting do you use to avoid it all looking overly bright? Often the HUD is hard to read and the ground looks too.....'white'.

Any good gamma setting works in only specific circumstances, but although the other modules don't have the SE's visor, you can achieve a similar effect with OpenXR's menu. There's a setting called sunglasses or something. I have to check.
