Madpie Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Trimming with an axis is like moving in molasses. I finally made force feedback rudders to go with my rhino stick and of course the warbirds are amazing with them. Of course one desires to trim them, especially the rudders as you move through different speeds over a bunch of manoeuvres. its amazing in the p-47 because the trim is fairly instantaneous so it’s easy to keep that ball centred (especially as you often only have to move it a few degrees). However my other loves in the mozzie, spitty and of course the pony have the axis modelled so they have horrible delays of several seconds. I understand some of these are older modules (apart from the mozzie). is it possible to get this addressed? FFB devices are slowly gaining a lot of users but it’s frustrating to be held back by old ways of modelling trim
Solution mkel2010 Posted May 4, 2024 Solution Posted May 4, 2024 Take a look at the DCS Community Keybinds, linked below. Installing it (and the Quaggles Command Injector) gives you a series of Custom key binds, which include Fast and Slow trim adjustments. There is a link to the Quaggles Command Injector on the page linked below. For me, the trim changes happened too fast for my liking and using these key binds have allowed me to slow the trim changes way down so no reason to believe they won't do the opposite for you. https://github.com/Munkwolf/dcs-community-keybinds
Madpie Posted June 20, 2024 Author Posted June 20, 2024 Interesting, I'll try this out. I wonder if i can get it to with with dcs bios
