[FIXED] JF-17 not transmitting TACAN ?

Hi,

It seems like A/A tacan isn't working between JF-17s, i did some tests with a friend and here's what we found :

First JF-17's tacan set to 01 Y, second JF-17's tacan set to 64 Y (+63)

No matter what TACAN modes we are in (RCV, A/G, A/A RCV, A/A-B), we don't get any range or bearing information. We also tried with X instead of Y but still the same issue.

We tried next with one JF-17 and one F-18, same setup as above :

JF-17 receives range information (only in A/A-B mode) from the F-18, however, the F-18 doesn't receive anything.

So our conclusion is that the JF-17 doesn't transmit any range/bearing information in any TACAN modes (thus A/A Tacan between JF-17s can't work since no one is transmitting).

Is this a bug ?

Make sure datalink is off. TACAN doesnt work in the Jeff as long as datalink is activated.

There will be major improvements to TACAN in the next update. This should resolve the issue.

the tacan work with datalink, you just need to box TCN on your HSD before switch on the datalink
