@The_Nephilim how are you measuring Frametimes? I have heard the DCS version is not accurate and when looking at it, the numbers jump so much it's kind of hard to see what it is actually showing. When using the overlay from OXRTK they are vastly different than the DCS version and according the OXRTK website, not accurate if CPU bound. DCS often shows me CPU bound but also often not.

Since I moved to VD, I stopped worrying about the numbers because it looks good, but then I'm not competing on a server. I am also dealing with F10 crashes and want to see if frametimes are related to this.

Well I was using the OXRTK they also have one in the OpenXR Tools. I am unsure why they say they are not accurate but they are pretty close..  Yes I am not worried about the numbers as once I am set like this it just works for me and I like monitoring the spikes.. but setting it like this has given me hours upon kours or near lag free gaming even in the Pretense campaign..

you can also divide 1000/FPS to get Frametime..

I rarely get spikes just some wierd one from the game itself like if I press a certain button press sometimes can cause a spike but it is almost instantly.. F10 crashes could be a memory issue. if you made a thread and posted the log I can have a look dont want to clog this thread with that so if you can PM me your log..

I dont use VD as I guess I can not haha!! but I heard good things about it.. what kind of crashes do you get a black screen in the headset then game ctd's??

@The_Nephilim I posted in the VR Bug area about it, including logs and screen grabs of settings. Basically it looks different each time but screen tearing, wobbly screen, black rectangular shapes. Might be dropping frames, not sure. It seems to be happening mostly in Syria and Afghanistan maps. I made another similar mission in the Persian Gulf without any issues - so far, because I have only tried it twice. I can run the mission in Syria just fine if I don't use F10.

I tried to monitor VRAM and RAM with MSI  Afterburner but it failed to output to a log. Removing the HMD a couple times I only saw 8GB of use and most of the 3080ti's 12GB allocated and 32GB of my 64GB memory in use.
