Hey guys I need an advice. I got a 2080 64GB DDR4 RAM and a 8700K running on 4.7 boost. In MP especially Enigmas it's never smooth 30-60 FPS bouncing up and down. I was thinking about throwing an RX 7900 XT in, but I tested Low settings and I realy mean low and it still was not smooth. So I wonder If a GPU would even be the thing. Might a new processor be the better investment here? FPS counter also tells me CPU bound

My experience is that on busy servers the CPU bottlenecks more than the GPU. You can easily figure out what your brake is. Use a tool like MSI Afterburner to see the utilization of your GPU. If it is at 100% or short below you are GPU bound, because the CPU can handle the amount of work the GPU requests. If you are way below, e.g. 70%, the GPU could do more, but the CPU is not fast enough to handle the requested workload the GPU wants.

I hope this helps.
