Shifty2805 Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 (edited) Hi, Anyone else noticed that the aircraft is a bit jumpy? I find it very hard to fly stable and it also comes to my attention that some YouTubers are experiencing the same. For example: https://youtu.be/JHWwSzo_Ikc?si=4rAq0wjucxeM4qFa&t=151 (2:31) I have tried to tweak the sensitivity settings in DCS, but without any luck. And yes, I have disabled the FFB feature. I am using the TM Warthog HOTAS; all the other modules (Viper, Hornet etc.) are flying fine, but the Phantom feels really jumpy. Is anyone else having the same experience with this beauty as well? Zabuzard Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 The Phantom is known to be a trim dancer aircraft. If you are not constantly fiddling with the trim, you wont be flying stable. This is primarily due to the bobweight and bellows system (details in our manual).Alternatively, engage the AFCS (autopilot). 1
