  1. Dear fellow pilots, Lately, we're running into a DCS problem where my buddy constantly gets kicked out of his own created (dedicated) server; this server is on his second PC. To give a bit of context : after the latest update, we updated all DCS clients (also the dedicated server client on his second PC). A few hours before starting DCS, he rebooted his router due to suspected connection issues. Initially, everything appeared normal. We create our missions in DCS and load them on his server. About 10 minutes into the mission, my buddy gets disconnected with a "Connection Timeout" error. This issue persisted even during a second attempt a few days later, although I remained connected. The server logs show a 'Disconnected: stream error'. He also tested the router, but everything seems okay (no packet losses etc). We've browsed DCS forums and Reddit without finding a solution. Does anyone here have experience with this error or know how to resolve it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support. 2. Hi, I am not sure whether this has been requested before, but would it be possible if there's an option for the VR users to be able to reconnect without restarting the game. My VR-setup sometimes disconnects and after that I am not able to get right back into the game via my VR-glasses. When this occurs I usually get a black screen. I believe MSFS has the function where you can easily get in/out VR-mode, even after your VR-setup was -unexpectedly- disconnected for a short while. I really hope something like this would be possible! It is definitely gonna make me (and probably many others) very happy. Thank you. Kindest regards, Shifty
  3. Hi, I was wondering, wouldn't it be an idea to improve the ground units AI? For example, while I am doing bombing runs on ground units, the units instantly start firing at me, even while I am still inbound the target. Generally, most humans would be completely surprised when they are suddenly under attack by fighters or helicopters, while the AI knows always exactly where you are. I hope this is something that can be added to DCS! It would make the experience a lot better. Thanks!
  4. @razo+rthank you so much, I completely missed that topic. @Arkay's post in that topic was indeed the solution to this problem! Again thank you so much!
  5. Hi guys, Yesterday, I created a mission via the Mission Editor and once we were done, we noticed that our wingtanks are on a weird spot. Not as it should be. Here are some images: Apart from the livery that we use, we also use the ECHO19 core & F-16 sound mod. Edit: Just FYI, I also tried to use one of the standard USAF F-16 liveries, and I am getting the same result. Does anyone know how to fix this? Help will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance. All the best, Shifty
  6. Hi guys, Does anyone know what these 'things' are? For additional fuel or extra sensors maybe? I am trying to learn the Apache as much as possible, so that's why it made me curious. Hopefully someone knows the answer. Thank you advance for your responses. Best, Shifty
  7. +1! It would be a great addition if this feature will be possible.
  8. The FPS is fine at my end. However, I do have issues in more dense areas, like the larger cities on the Syrian map. The game looks some sort of shaky and it has some sort of lag/delay. I am also getting a white transparent bar at the bottom of the screens inside my Oculus Quest 2. Normally when I fly the F-16 this actually never happens, but with the AH64 it does in the dense areas. I haven't tried to set the graphic settings lower - but I'll do that tomorrow. My specs: i9-10850k RTX3080 32GB RAM Oculus Quest 2 If anyone has other suggestions, I look really forward to hearing your input on that!
  9. That makes sense! Thank you so much for your prompt answer, it is really appreciated. Best regards, Shifty
  10. Hi guys, I wonder what the correct shutdown procedure of the F-16 is. After seeing the checklist which is included in the download section of this website (click), it states: "Throttle ... OFF". Which is okay. Now I found this video where an F-16AM model of the Royal Netherlands Air Force is performing a shutdown procedure in a slightly different way: (See and listen at 3:00 (3 minutes)) The F-16AM is most likely using the fuel cutoff system, then gives a bit of power to bleed completely out. Is this a difference between the F-16C and F-16AM model due to different systems? Or am I switching the DCS F-16C off in a wrong way? I hope someone can explain how this works. All the best, Shifty
  11. Thank you, guys, for the answers!
  12. Hi y'all, Just a question, is there a way to determine what the G-limitation of the DCS F-16C is with a specific configuration. So for example, I will take two external wing tanks the G-limit is probably different than with only a external belly-tank. Is there some documentation available for this? I look forward to reading your messages. All the best, Shifty
