Saudi F-5 were used during the 2003 invasion of Iraq from Tabuk.

The Second Gulf War (beginning 19-03-03 and lasting over one month) saw the participation of the Saudi Air Force with 53 Northrop F-5E/F-5F (106 sorties) and Northrop RF-5E (20 sorties), all based at Tabuk, thoughthe reconnaissance fighter did not fare well as they were largely useless in seeking out targets and rapidly processing information.
