Scavenger Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 Apologies if this has already come up. I've been trying out the AGM-65Ds and have found it harder to get the seeker to return to centre (cage) than the AGM-65A and B. In the TV mavericks, a single press of the trigger cages the seekers, but in the IR mavericks it seems to require multiple (sometimes as many as 10) presses, with each one only moving the seeker slightly. Holding the trigger doesn't seem to help. Effectively this means I have to spam the trigger to get a mav to cage, which is a bit of a pain. If it helps diagnose things, I have the AAR button bound to the 1st stage of my trigger (mainly for ease of use for uncaging sidewinders).
Maki Nishikino Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 (edited) First press of the trigger should change FOV and second should cage it. Maybe your 1st stage trigger assignment is causing issues. Edited May 26, 2024 by Maki Nishikino 1
Solution Scavenger Posted May 26, 2024 Author Solution Posted May 26, 2024 As suspected, it's the AAR refuel binding to the 1st stage trigger. Re-binding it to a button on my throttle has solved the issue. Shame, I liked having it on the trigger!
