Module folder containers two copies (~800mb) of uncompressed music files

Seems a bit excessive to add some random uncompressed album to it twice.

The .wav files are ~15% of the module size and that does not include the .ogg files that is used for anything else.

800MB of 5.3GB are ~15% and not 25%, which is a significant difference.

The .ogg files are used for sound effects only and the music is left as high quality audio, and I'm completely fine with it.
If the F14 is anything to go by as an example, the "Music" folder contains your actual Music album, which you get to keep no matter what while the "TapePlayer" folder is exactly that, your music in-game in-cockpit, which (as with the F14) you can replace with your own music even. and if you chose to do that, you still keep your OG F4 soundtrack in "Music".
That means, that effectively, you have 388MB of wasted space, if you are really pedantic about it. Delete your "Music" folder contents and be off. I Can't even buy an SD card small enough today where that amount would matter.

I, for one, will have my own soundtrack in the TapePlayer, as i " I bring my own mixtape " to the different mission types.

Please don't change anything about this approach.

If my assumptions here are wrong (since i am not a programmer at HB), please correct me happily.

You are correct. Will edit my post.

Still 1,2GB total of uncompressed wave files, but didn't know there were more.

To add to this, there is also 500+ mb Soundtrack files for the F-14, also uncompressed .wav

thank god. I would have been mightily pissed if I get compressed music.

Go compress some Jester voicelines, I'm good. Please don't compress music. I can understand earpod / Beats by dre userbase not caring, as one streams music in compressed formats for the most part, but this is a good thing.

Oh well... make a copy then while they are uncompressed.

Errmmm actuctukly it's only 15% and I for one love it so who cares what other people think. Bros got the F4 so down his throat it's reminding him of his mom.
