Tarres Posted May 29, 2024 Posted May 29, 2024 About the AUX receiver, the radio set has one "aux receiver" with 20 presets. With the knob selector we can select for example "TR+G/ ADF", with the left nav selector, we place the selector in ADF/TAC. So you can hear/transmit in the COMM freq (eg preset1) and the "Aux" will deviate the pointer to the position of the "aux preset 2" (ADF) Or you can set the ADF+G/Comm and conversely, the ADF indicator will point to the position of the "Main" (preset or manual) and you still be able to "listen" the "Aux preset" But is correct to "listen" the "AUX preset" when the knob is not in the ADF/COMM or ADF+G/COMM? Thanks in advance.
Dominik96 Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Hi @Tarres, Yes, you are still able to hear on the 'ADF' positions. It's not either hear or receive steering but you select the steering on top of the radio transmissions, that's correct.
Tarres Posted June 17, 2024 Author Posted June 17, 2024 Ok. It´s a bit strange that a receiver can select at the same time both the "comm antenna" and the "ADF antenna". Thanks.
