Can't display the Jester menu - what am I doing wrong?

Got the F-4 and wanted to do the 1st tutorial (starting the F-4).

At some point, you're asked to connect the external power.

Pressing the stick button I assigned to Jester doesn't do anything. Using key "A" on my keyboard doesn't do anything either.

Then I opened the COMM menu and wanted to do the same from the COMM menu, but the "connect external power" wants to open Jester, and nothing happens either.

Then I thought that it was a glitch in the tutorial. I tried the free flight mission, and no Jester either.

I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong here.

Yes, it is.

One additional remark: I'm using VR. Don't know if it changes anything, but who knows.

It shouldn't do - I also run VR and it works for me.

Do you have any mods installed?

Possibly your UI is cutoff so much that you dont even see it at all.
This can happen with a certain settings combination in VR.

To fix that, select "Use DCS System Resolution", "BOTH EYES", pick a resolution that isnt too low (full hd for example) and reset any of our hb ui special options u might have messed with already. Then (mandatory) restart DCS for the changes to take effect.

In the meantime, ED is working on a fix for the underlying cause. Cheers

Tried that, but then I got a crash when opening an instant action with the F-4

will wait for the fix from the underlying cause.

Did you try setting the resolution manually in the Misc menu? I set it to 1200x800 and it works. I had no luck/effect just enabling “use DCS resolution”
