db349 Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Hello Aerges team, First of all thank you for a great module, I'm really enjoying the F1 so far ! Hereunder a few issues I ran into : - Hydraulics seem to be pressurized all the time, even before engine start and after shutdown, allowing movement of control surfaces and slats/flaps when IMHO they shouldn't... - For the F1EE the INS display of the groundspeed ("VS") doesn't always work, the digits are not faulty because in PP or PPOS they show just fine, only the groundspeed / Vitesse au Sol has issues. I'm following the correct alignment procedure (usually ALCM) and it works most of the time, but sometimes not, no idea what triggers this - Engine temp indicator during engine start seems to top out around 300-400° celsius, seems quite low (also compared to other modules in same conditions) - I'm quite surprised by the lateral /roll stability of the plane (bank returning to wings level) considering the anhedral angle of the wings, it's like instead the wings have strong dihedral effects, is this correct behaviour ? - Caution panel luminosity seems a bit too bright in the DAY setting making it very hard to read, switching to NIGHT setting helps in some circumstances - I understand that the visual effect of the afterburner cone for less than maximum AB is still on the To Do list ? - And finishing with a rather contentious subject will reflections on the interior canopy eventually be added to the module ? (preferably as an option in the menu) Currently I see there aren't any ( I manually edited a few dds textures like roughmet to create some light reflections and it increases the immersion quite a bit IMO) Thanks for your feedback ! Looking forward to your next iteration of the plane... 1

Looking forward to your next iteration of the plane... I’m not an aerodynamics expert by any means (nor a developer of this jet), but I believe the top-mounting of the wing would help offset roll instability due to the anhedral wing. Since center of gravity is below the wing, acting like a pendulum. But again I’m not entirely certain…
db349 Posted June 4, 2024 Author Posted June 4, 2024 Hi Criticale2orr, Thanks for your reply, that could indeed help explain it somewhat I guess. But the Harrier also has a top mounted anhedral wing and I don't remember it having strong stable roll effects. I noticed the horizontal tailplane of the F1 has some dihedral maybe that comes into play as well...
