Hey Guys!

Just a heads up. I just realized that if you press escape during any mission and press it once more to get back into the game that you suddenly get mouse control over the pilots head as well as being able to click any thing in the cockpit. That eliminates the need for me to keep pressing Alt+C to switch between the 2. For TrackIR users I assume this would be quite useless information but I just wanted to bring it to peoples attention.

Thank you

i think there are 3 modes with ALT + C, but that is interesting

The only problem with using both is that the mouse cursor sometimes gets posted on one side of the screen and it's difficult to put it back into a usable position. Also, does anyone's sound reset when they hit escape? It happens to me all the time as new sounds pop in and out.

it does some times u just have to hit out side view then jump back in and its fixed. if external views are disabled then just esc and resume once more then the sound issue is fixed

When that happens I hit esc, move the mouse back to center screen and then hit esc again to continue.

Thank you Frederf. I just went through the process of mapping out my Saitek last night and I tried to tinker with the view settings and once I got away from the default view (when you first start the aircraft) I could not get back to it ... despite using every one of the litterally dozen or so controls that you would think would take you back to the default view ... or at least get you close to it. Nope. Every one of them either zoomed in on the controls (either too close, or you got close enough to the instruments but the display of the HUD looked so far away it looks like you need a telescope to see what was displayed on it, etc). Whoever designed all the view settings needs beaten.

Your little workaround will be exactly what I was looking for. Will have to get home after work and try it.
