Planes are Black/Very Slow

Hey, I've had LOMAC for a while but never played it. I found it and decided to try it out a couple of hours ago. When I did it it was pretty slow which I kinda figured, but then I played the very first tutorial mission and the plane and everything in it except the glass was completly black. I couldn't see a thing, and what made it worse was the fact that my computer was slow as hell so there was epic lag. HELP!

Make sure to mention your OS, and what shadow- and visibility-settings you're using. 32 or 64-bit? Anything running in the background, like a virus/malware-guarding thing? Though I haven't seen it myself, they're supposed to cause the freakiest glitches for such an easy 'fix'.

 

Seriously, I wouldn't be the least surprised if this turns out to be a run-in with Vista and administrative privileges...

That's the thing, I don't know my specs. The only think I know is I have XP.

run a dxdiag, save it as a txt to your desktop, then upload the file to this forum.
