Expanding the map to East Anglia/ Ardennes or even the Ruhr

This map is such a gift for us aviation history nerds. I hope you guys consider expanding the map north so we can take advantage of historical scenarios with the late-war german planesets we have. I'd love to see the 4ya server and others be able to expand out of the Normandy area.

I'm not entirely sure our sandbox concept would work if the map got any bigger. It only works at the moment because (like the Luftwaffe back in the day) we mostly ignore France from north of Beauvais upwards. Almost all the British airfields are empty as well, whereas they would need populating and AAA defences added accordingly. About 60% of the map is simply unused on Project Overlord; a further 15% is only ever flown over by Axis pilots.

Although all the DCS warbirds are capable of making long flights over the current map, only three playable aircraft (P-51, P-47 and Mosquito) have the range to cross the whole thing end to end and come back home again. A London-Paris-London sortie is doable in ~3 hours but realistically, how many of us have the time for that?

Better that Ugra refines the area we have already instead of making it bigger, from my point of view.

I'd enjoy the terrain for the later 1944 early 1945 as the war spreads north and the allies occupied the airfields up there. In your server there's that bodged together planset with xmas 1944 planes being squished into a june/July terrain milsim with varying rules for mw50. It just irks me a bit and id love to see the meta change as the war went north. That bring said the player base

Also there airfields in East Anglia would be would be fantastic for single player campaigns over the years

That being said everyone would probably just hike to carpiquet

Imagine dynamic campaign coming and the map being all ready to receive it (hopefully with a g6 as well)

We need a full UK Map at some stage IMO... a lot of cities were bombed, my father told me of watching the searchlights of Liverpool and Manchester picking up bombers and  the ack ack firing at them and this was from Shropshire... Training from Rednal aerodrome and others. 

More Modern day.... many events of Intercepts North of Scotland....... 

Lots of further potential, Not to forget the Iconic Mach loop LFA7 and Lakes LFA17 and North Scotland.
