As I said before, I have never flown Apache, but normally in other helicopters, you should be able to move cyclic from center position but with certain resistance. Thats why you need to push force trim button and then move cyclic (not opposite as shown in some youtube dcs tutorials). Because when you press cyclic first against resistance and then you press force trim (disabling springs) you will get kind of "kick" in the direction you were pushing cyclic in the moment you pressed the button. In current setting of the FFB in apache, I can move cyclic around center with very little resistance and with force trim released there is not enough centering force to hold cyclic firmly in place.
