NoGoodNews Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 Whenever we are playing two persons as Pilot and WSO, flaps won't move down. We have checked it only happens when two players are on the same plane. Doing the normal startup procedure, when moving flaps down for take off, they won't move at all. No matter the key combination used (nor even clicking directly on the lever in the cockpit) the lever moves down, but flaps stay firmly up. In standalone operations they work fine. It's only when two players act as pilot and wso. Is this a bug?
Zabuzard Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 Do you recall for which player they appeared to stay up? Pilot or WSO? Or if viewed from another aircraft?

Or if viewed from another aircraft? They appear up in external views for both players. Is not that they appear up. Is that they do not come down (neither up) when doing a cold start. If you jump in the plane in the air or with the engines already started (runway start) they work fine. But if you do a cold start with both human Pilot and WSO, they don't work (nor the landing gear) no matter what you do. You can drop them down (both flaps and gear) using the emergency handles. But that's all. Really weird, but we have not been able to use flaps when cold starting since we had the module delivered. Tried almost 30 times with different controls configurations. Nothing Is extremely frustrating
Solution MarkP Posted July 5, 2024 Solution Posted July 5, 2024 make sure that teh WSO has the Battery override switch OFF. Happens to us yesterday as well. Forget to put it back to OFF position and with it ON (dont know if its a bug or as intended) the FLAPS wont move. 1 Main-Module: F-16C, AH-64D Maps: Syria, Persian Gulf, South Atlantic, Caucasus, 1944 Normandy, NTTR Hardware: VKB Gunfighter mk.2 Pro, WinWing Orion F16, VKB T-Rudder, HP Reverb G2 PC Specs: Intel 13900K, ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-E, 64GB DDR5-5800 RAM, GeForce RTX 4090, Win 11x64
NoGoodNews Posted July 6, 2024 Author Posted July 6, 2024 Thaank you very much!!!! That was it!! For some stupid reason we had in our checklist that the WSO hat to switch the battery bypass ON as his first task, and we've kept doing that coldstart after coldstart Now everything is ok. Thanks again and happy landings 2
