[2.9.5.55918 MT] FREEZE and TARGET INSERT buttons do not illuminate

According to the RL 34-1-1 the FREEZE and TARGET INSERT buttons illuminate when pressed.

In the game, these buttons do not illuminate.

I believe it was mentioned that they'll receive this in the next patch. At minimum, HB is aware of this.
