HOW TO CREATE A PROPER DOGFIGHT / BFM MISSION

Hey guys!

I'm new to DCS, been playing for 6 months now.

I'm trying to create some dogfight missions and I've literally tried everything to prevent AI fire until the merge ( HOLD FIRE and then WEAPON FREE when the merge happens ) but they always start firing at me anyway even with those "limits" on.

How can I create a mission where the AI holds fire until the merge?

I like to create a fur-ball to practice my dog-fighting skills.  That way you can practice entering and exiting the merge.  Give it a try.
