pauldy Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Hi I just re-installed Lock On Flamming Cliffs with the Modman 7 ready, I just want to make sure my install won't go haywire again once i plug in the major mods. The major ones i'm planning to install are: Crimean Air Wars Mod Sim mod Reload (Terrain mod preferably the version for slower PCs) Walmis F-15 Walmis Weapon Pack Simmod A-10 3GO Su-27 My question is, are any of these mods incompatible with one another? I had Sidewinder Problems with the Simmod A-10 in the past. The missile ignition trail/smoke is not aligned with the Sidewinder. I've read something about the A-10 model incompatibility with Walmis weapons.. Thanks :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
nemises Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Correct, the Simmod A10 does not play nicely with Walmis, HOWEVER, there is a fix pack that makes them play nicely together.. by order you should install: - Walmis mods - A10 - A10 + walmis fixpack
pauldy Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 Ok I tried installing them all. Once again, it ended up borken :D ok so i'll just add the aircraft & terrain mods instead~ but i'm tired now, i'll just re-install Lock on this weekend :joystick: I have a question though.. is that fixpack the one that comes with the Sim mod A-10 package? Sorry i'm just getting into the A-10 :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
OldCrow Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 The reason you get problems installing many mods together is that more of them needs to have modified versions of similar files. So when u're installing the walmis mod forexample, some files have been changed. THen when u install the simmod a-10, it changes those same files, makiung the walmis f-15 not working. So to get all this to work you or someone would ahve to modify these files so they are compatible with both walmis, simmod a-10 and 3go su-27, wich should be possible.
