SqnLdr_chuishan Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 My friend has encountered a serious bug with the radar/TV disply overlapping on the HUD. The video on the radar scope would be replicated on the HUD as long as the scope is displayong something, no matter it is TV video feed for AGM-65 or radar image. My friend is using Steam version with clean build (no mod except A-4E) and after checking integrity of the files the issue persists. It occurs on both multiplayer and singleplayer. Would you please kindly provide some clue on what has happened? Thanks! And the number for the afterburner detent adjustment is slightly bugged, so the exact % cannot be seen. minor issue but hopefully this can be fixed too. null 1

Damn, I feel dumb! Well, I'm guessing then that it has something to do with exports/Helios. Will uninstall all mods and do a repair later if I could bother. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

MAXsenna Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Ive seen this report only once so far and for that user a DCS Repair fixed the issue.Did that, no fix, while I do have mods. I'll try again sans mods and report back. Want a track in case it's not fixed? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Solution MAXsenna Posted July 10, 2024 Solution Posted July 10, 2024 @SqnLdr_chuishan @Zabuzard I guessed correct. It's Helios, the patches that are installed. Easily fixed. Close DCS. In the core files, browse to this location. Rename "init_bake.lua" to ie. "Helios - init_bake.lua". And then rename the file with the superlong filename without an extension to "init_bake.lua". That's it. Start DCS. A fix in Helios will probably come eventually. Cheers! 2
