Blowbob68 Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 After the update 11/07/2024 my headtracker Tobii 5 does not connect to the game anymore. My friend had the same problem. We looked at the headtracker.dll that must be in the bin. We cleanup up the game and repaired it. I removed gamehub an experience and re-installed both. All to no avail. What did we miss? Is it a bug? 1
rob10 Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 From some reports it doesn't play well with the new launcher. Try turning that off and see if it works. 1
YSIAD_RIP Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 (edited) Tobii 5 is not working for me with the New Launcher Selected either. Not a problem. I disabled it and will continue to use Skatezilla's GUI Launcher Edited July 12, 2024 by YSIAD_RIP Updated my findings Do not own: | F-15E | JF-17 | Fw 190 A-8 | Bf 109 | Hardware: [ - Ryzen7-5800X - 64GB - RX 6800 - X56 HOTAS Throttle - WINWING Orion 2 F16EX Grip - TrackIR 5 - Tobii 5C - JetPad FSE - ]
Wostg Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 (edited) That's tobii's official solution now too That said, anyone having new issues about little bumps, I think caused by blinking? I mostly set my T5 to headtracking only, but everytime I blink (I didn't know I blinked so much, or maybe I do it more just becasue it makes me think about it) the tracker does a little bump and its getting really annoying. Eyetracking is turned off, and I've set substantial deadzones for all axes to test but still seems to be happening.
