Json error since latest patch

Hi Guys,

Ever since the update yesterday I can log into the new  launch page if I try and fire up DCS it hangs on 12%.

I have tried to update my install just incase of corruption and I `keep getting the Json Error:lexical error:invalid char in json text (right here)

Any idears?

Hi Guys,

Try to rename the DCS Saved Games folder temporarily.

I'd do a full whole repair, and we know the error is in the core files because you renamed Saved Games folder.

Tried this looks like a complete reinstall Max.

 

Appreciate all your help. I guess I only need to save my Saved games folder?

Never had to do this before.
You tried a full repair? Slow with checking of files? A re-installation should not really help you, as a repair is basically the same. Only quicker. It's probably a corrupt file. Any chance Anti-Virus is interfering?
If you do decide to uninstall. It will not touch Saved Games. If you have the space you, could install in parallel. Just choose another name for the folder.
