ac5 Posted July 13, 2024 Posted July 13, 2024 After the huge update 2.9.6.57650 the mouse cursor in-game turns VERY big and VERY fast, this happens also in the cockpits. No matter if the new launcher is disabled or enabled, no matter if it is set 1x 2x 3x or 4x. This makes usability of all mouse functions difficult. On game exit, my desktop turns briefly from 4K to full hd, and then the mouse briefly freezes, then everything turns to normal.... Please advise. majorandme Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 I can't even get DCS to start now. I did the update last night and thought I would start off a relaxing Sunday with a campaign mission ... nope

Solution ac5 Posted July 14, 2024 Author Solution Posted July 14, 2024 In the meantime I have found the solution: Disabled "full screen" in the settings, and then everything as normal. No fps hit and there is NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL if "full screen" enabled or disabled, apart of the above mentioned. VERY ODD though.. I have had "full screen" in the settings since literally YEARS, and NEVER had such an issue after an update..... 1 Mainboard: ASUS Maximus X Hero Intel Z 370 CPU: Intel Core i7-8086K @ 4.0 GHz Memory: 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4-3000 Graphics Card: ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 10GB Monitor ASUS PA 329 32" @ 4K 1 SSD Samsung 860 PRO 256 GB 1 SSD Samsung 860 PRO 4 TB Windows 10 - 64 V. 2004 CH Pro combatstick, throttle and pedals
ac5 Posted July 14, 2024 Author Posted July 14, 2024 Just to be sure... I made a test, and enabled "full screen" in the settings. After a restart, AGAIN the mouse cursor in-game turns VERY big and VERY fast, in the ME, UI, and in the cockpits, making usability of all mouse functions very difficult. Disabled "full screen" in the settings, and then everything as normal. Other than that, NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL.... Hitting for example Windows button and D does NOT open the desktop, nor does Alt-Tab (If no other program / window open) as it has always been with enabled "full screen" in the settings. No No fps difference whatsoever, 60 FPS solid with V-sync as always. Go figure.....
