rosty Posted July 13, 2024 Posted July 13, 2024 I've tried mission 6 three times. Every time we get close to the tanker, my wingman flies away to the ocean. After successful refueling and landing, nothing happens. The mission ended with a score of 50, resulting in a draw.
Badger633 Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 Hi @rosty This is a general DCS refuel bug which was introduced a couple of updates ago. In response in the update before last I put a temporary fix on all my campaign A2A refuels. This where matrix does not refuel but just stays in formation. At least then he does not dive away and break the mission. Unfortunately I missed this mission when doing the fixes. Will get it done and issue in next update. The next A2A refuels in the campaign have the temp fix in place. Badger633 Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 (edited) Hi @rosty Yes the fix is in this update. Hopefully working now with the temp fix. (Was when I did the fix). Basically there is an issue with A2A refuel. So in the temp fix for all my missions your wing will not refuel himself but stay in formation with you. He is not given the command to refuel in the script, ( this was when he went awol as if he had a hot date), you then refuel as normal. Mission will progress. All explained in mission in game. rosty Posted August 10, 2024 Author Posted August 10, 2024 Thank you! I can confirm it works now. However, I noticed that after refueling, the wingman is going crazy, like bouncing off the ground, although it doesn't affect the mission.

The temp fix meant the wing is not refuelling now but staying in formation, should have set the wing to infinite fuel but missed it. Thats why the wing started bouncing around he probably ran out of fuel. I will correct this in next update. At least he won’t break the mission. The EZ refuel version will be unaffected.
