I'm not sure where to put this thread but anyways..

I'm planning to add another card of a 1TB capacity SSD. Can I just copy and paste the entire DCS Folder into that would be new SSD drive or do I need to do a complete re-install?

Thanks^

Hi, yes you can. You can copy/paste or cut/paste the DCS "install" folder. Done that 2 months ago for my new DCS drive.

If you copy / paste it, make sure to adjust the DCS shortcuts on your desktop accordingly. If you cut/paste the DCS install folder, windows will automatically adjust the shortcut targets if I recall correctly.

Hope that helps, best regards.

No, you do not need to do anything.

Unless your third party apps like viacom required to point to new drive folder.. for example in vaicom...cntrl-alt-c to change to new drive folder

Successfully transferred DCS from 500gb to 1Tb and was finally able to install the Kola Map. Thanks 👌

Ot but yeah.. Kola is memorable for me as it was the same map that Jane's F/A-18 had which i used to play, more than a decade ago 👌
