known issue Turn off control sticks by default?

I've been flying the F-16 and F-18 for a bit now and it seems like after the most recent patch I'm having to manually turn off these graphical representations that were previously hidden.  Is there a setting in the main configuration I am missing because I looked through the settings and find it annoying, even with my Track IR, that I can no longer see switches that were previously wide open to me.  Such as the Helmet mounted display brightness in the F-16 and the bottom MFD in the F-18.    Am I just missing something?

If you're using the new launcher it is causing that setting to default to ON (show them) every time you run it.  IIRC it should be in the MISC section of the settings (could be wrong on that).

I can also turn off stick and show mirrors, but as soon as I spawn thay are not saved as requested..

Yes, the new launcher is bugged and won't save whatever state you set.  It's a known bug.  The current work around is to disable the launcher then it will save whatever you have them set to.
