Yellow mouse crosshair in cockpit veiw missing

Hi, I have TrackIR 4Pro working fine. When I move the mouse it moves the cockpit veiw. I have no yellow crosshair to click on the cockpit items. Does anyone know how to get it working? Thanks ,

cant remember but its like left alt + C or something similar to that. there appears to be 3 modes you can switch to

Only two modes; head movement or clickable cockpit (yellow cross).

 

A bug, to be turned into a feature in the next patch - so I read - is that you get both head movement AND clickable cockpit after exiting the Esc dialog when initially in clickable cockpit (so from the game you hit Esc twice consecutively). This is not useful if you have TrackIR.
