After 22.07 patch DCS gives me authorization error in Steam. I have performed verificiation of game files integrity, but no joy. Literally all my aircraft, maps and campaigns are gone. Only Caucasus and 2 free aircraft are available. Game is totally unplayable at this point. Fix needed ASAP. I don't want to wait 2 weeks or more for the next patch to be able to play.
Also, https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ is not responding for me.

If the game and a website that is not part of the game is failing I would start by looking at your AV, especially if the website was loaded from within DCS itself. Very occasionally my AV blocks access to the internet with DCS, not often but has happen so maybe check firewall logs or history to see if their website is on it.

As for the error code I would double check that nothing has been flagged up as malcious and quarantined, only takes one file. Technically as you have verified the files through Steam it would add any missing files back, but then the AV would just remove them again before you had chance to log into anything. Never know might find the problem in there, if not I'm sure someone will be along with a different solution.

So, enabling the VPN has solved the issue. Now I need to find out if blocking DCS authorization site in Kazakhstan was ED or my provider/government initiative.
