This is what I get when I start DCS.

I get that little number 1 in the tiles as well.

 

Let me add I did a dcs repair. I had not played DCS for a couple of months.. and the only difference between then and now was that I added a different monitor to the setup because my old unit burned out.

You need to change your monitor resolution, just click the cog on the top left and go to screen resolution, some monitors can be temperamental. If it's set at the correct setting, change it to something else then change it back. Either that or somehow it's set itself to display over more than one monitor, so check that's set to 1 as well if you got a single setup.

The red number one is your module manager, so likely need to do something with a module.

Was it about the yesterday 500 authorization issue?  I faced few times of the errors yesterday.

yes it was yesterday, I thought it was due to that UI launcher

If it's an authorisation issue then DCS have had problems in the last few days and fixed it, but then it broke again for some people.

The other cause was by AV software that quarantined various files or blocked connections, with Malwarebytes and McAfee being the biggest culprits.

Can do this to bypass the new launcher if you think that's the problem:

You need to edit the Options.lua file, make a copy first.

First go to 'your username\Saved Games\DCS\Config\' and find options.lua

Next find the line ["launcher"] = true and change it to ["launcher"] = false (for me in Notepad ++ it's on line 137 but can search it anyway)

Next save the file and launch DCS as normal and it will take you to the original login screen

Yeah turned all that offand still no go. But I bet it has locked something up.. I will wait a few more days before Uninstalling stuff. To see if it gets fix. Thanks for the  insight.
