DishDoggie Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 (edited) I'm so helpless with getting this to work I also have a Install Log File not attached because I am not sure(have not checked it out yet) to see if it has Personal information that should not be shown. So This Paid For Module WAS Installed then Disabled so I can NOT fly it. The Game will load the CH47 It will not let me inside it to fly it. What do I do? Tried to run the Repair From the new Menu and it Just up and Quit with another LOG file. Attached with the name changed to "autoupdate_logREPAIR.txt" autoupdate_logREPAIR.txt autoupdate_log.txt Edited August 9, 2024 by DishDoggie
Solution DishDoggie Posted August 10, 2024 Author Solution Posted August 10, 2024 The fix for my Problem was to do this: First Clean Then Repair from a PowerShell Prompt. After the Clean then Repair was made DCS World was Fixed and The CH47F was ready to use and I could get in it and fly it. Cleanup and repair How to repair DCS World from Start menu: Windows Start Menu/Eagle Dynamics. Locate the Repair option for the DCS product (version) you wish to repair. You can also run repair with an options: Check all files (slow) and Search for extra files after repair. How to cleanup DCS World: If you need to completely clean your DCS game after modifications, please use cleanup. It is important to Remove all your user mods if you have any, and backup any changes Go into your ...\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin folder. There, hold Left Shift and right click and click "Open Command window here." (Windows 10 creators update now uses Powershell, type cmd in Powershell, press enter and then continue) Then, type the following exactly as printed: .\DCS_updater.exe cleanup this will delete all non official files then do a DCS repair .\DCS_updater.exe repair 1
