Mission 12 - Not working

Set all radio and datalink frequencies. confirmed ready for lift etc. Ugly 5.2 not even starting up.  Pressed on anyway. The frequency changed for JTAC OK but no contact from him. I Flew around dealing out as much death as possible, but the enemy seemed indestructible and George couldn't hit a barn door. Some triggers not working maybe?

Persevered, used up all of my ammo and limped home on one engine with engine 2 overspeed warning and everything red line. 

Shame, I was looking forward the finale mission. I still believe this to be an outstanding campaign if the last glitches can be sorted out. 

I did it this time from the pilot seat. I'm looking forward to having a go from CPG seat next.

You have looked behind the curtain lol. In order to get 5-2 to stay on the ground until you're ready to launch, he is a static. Once you pick up and head away from Batman, 5-2 will respawn as hot on ground and follow you no issues.

 

I'll check the JTAC trigger zone on this one later.

OK, had another look into this. It seems the Apache radios are yet again FUBAR'd with respect to being read in by the trigger actions i have in the ME. 

 

Please can you manually add all 4 radio channel frequencies and hopefully you'll hear Batman Tower ok. If no comms with Batman, nothing else will flow after (no 5-2 activation and getting airborne for example)

Hi there mate, 

Sorry for the slow reply but been busy as hell with work, family etc. Just ran it again and did what you said. Entered the four freq's manually and everything progressed as expected when Batman confirmed clearance and course details. Cheers mate. 

Really enjoyed this campaign in the pilots seat so going to try it, once airborne, from the CPG seat. 

I will buy your next campaign in a heartbeat, whether AH64 or other, as long as its not the Christen Eagle LOL. 

I will mark as solved.

Update: Mission ran fine with minor issue that Foggy typed in 133.5 instead of 133.6 for Widow 4.

Anyone playing this make sure you have the freq's correct or you don't get JTAC instructions, 9 line, Fast Air support etc.

I'll make sure this is fixed

 

Glad manual input of freqs worked. It's been a PITA with Apache radios and presets not working correctly, or triggers firing
