LukeFF Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 In the training missions on the ABRIS, Wags always switches to a view that has the ABRIS view centered on the screen, however, I can't find this key command. What command brings up this view?
yehuda Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 I think it's LCTRL-NUM9, or one of the other numpad keys
LukeFF Posted May 20, 2009 Author Posted May 20, 2009 Bump. I tried that key command and fiddled around with a couple of others, but I wasn't able to find out what the proper key presses are.
JG14_Smil Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 click the 'map' button. You can also slew the map with the right ABRIS knob and cursor.

nomdeplume Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 The ABRIS button labelled 'Map' when it's in Nav mode. I think it's the 2nd button. In Map mode you can change the map scale and I think it changes its center position, though I'm not positive.

Alright, I think I may have worded my question poorly. :D What I'm meaning to find out is, when in the cockpit view, Wags switches to a position where the ABRIS display is "front and center." However, I can't find the key command that supports this view.
schmeeling Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 It's one of the snap view keys: LWin + Num3 I think
Strekaya Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Without being able to reference the training videos where I am, you may be referring to LWin + NumPad2, which is a snap view which shows the SHKVAL and the ABRIS. The other keys on the numeric keypad are other 'snap views' on the keyboard. I vaguely remember the option to 'save' views listed in the key commands, though I'm not sure how that works.
