Prototypical Setup of AAR for Carrier Recovery Tankers

Searched the interwebz to try and get some info on recovery AAR, can't find much. Anyone have an idea of these operations? What's the offset distance from the carrier, how long of a track does the tanker orbit, which side of the carrier the tanker usually operates on, orbit altitude parameters etc.?
