Pilot log and weapon systems

Hi there!

 

I have two questions regarding stuff that I just can't seem to figure out. First off, I am having some trouble with the player log. I doesn't really seem to log any of the stuff I do - which pretty much eliminates the whole point of a log.

Anyways, the problem seems to be, that a "New Player" profile is created every time I enter the game. I have tried to switch to my other profile that I created myself, but the "OK" button is sort of grayed out, when I try to exit the menu. Could anyone tell me, if I am doing something wrong?

 

My other questions regards the weapon systems: Is there anywhere I can read about them? I looked it over in the manual, but I couldn't seem to find anything. I would really like to learn about the weapons' properties before trying them, since it makes it considerably easier to use them correctly.

Hi Julle,

To Fix the log file click on new player in the profile change it to your name then it will give you the right info delete your original thats what I had to do ........ Second question look in the encyclopedia in the game for weapon info or various things

also make your pilot invulnerable because if you die all your stats die with the pilot

If I made my pilot invulnerable, wouldn't that make the helicopter invulnerable too?

No only the pilot. That was confusing for me too.

Making the pilot invulnerable means you can still die, it just makes it a temporary condition. The game will track the number of deaths you've had. With that option off, you have to create a new pilot profile if you die in the game, which means you lose any campaign progress as well as your stats.
