Robobble Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 This Tacview screenshot is from a Paradise Lost mission. The miniguns are being operated by the left seat AI spraying into a group of infantry. He spent 14 seconds dumping the miniguns on this guy. It looked like good accurate fire. He hit Charlie-22, a rice farmer with an AK, ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY THREE TIMES before he finally died. One rocket would've wiped out that whole group. After that run I started orbiting and the door gunner wiped the floor with the rest of them with 1% of the ammo. Either Tacview is recording hits wrong or the guns are seriously broken. Surely even one or two hits should register a kill. This isn't the only time this has happened either. The guns are completely ineffective against infantry. 1

This is exactly whats happening. Hits in tacview are inferred and arent representative of if the projectile actually hit the target. I believe its just some math that makes it a "hit" if an object disappears within a certain radius of another object. Tacview acmis are not reliable for determining hits, use trackfiles instead
