I see pilots want different sounds, my take on the sounds

I saw this available mod, 'CH-47F Reduced Engine Intake Whine, Increased Rotor Sounds'

any helo I was around or rode in, the Turbine is by far the Loudest sound, inside the helo, and even on the immediate outside.. the blade sounds are from further out. Hundreds of feet and more you get the blades beating. Not that anyone is right or wrong... just saying... of course it is IMHO.

As a 47 Flight Engineer, I can say the aircraft has a sound all its own.  Up front inside its all fwd xmsn whine, which I think the devs nailed. On the outside I think it’s missing some C-box noise but thats something that would be hard to differentiate.  If anything, id love to hear the bleed bands actuate when you reduce power but thats just me.

Agreed, inside the Cab it's mostly the whine of the transmissions, what I'd really like is the noise of the PTU's especially when starting up, moving the controls around whilst working off the APU.
