Randomly unable to set reticle depression

Hi,

I'm having an odd issue in as much as when in AG mode I cannot depress the reticle. The counter changes but the reticle just stays in the same place. This doesn't happen every time. Using latest DCS build.

The sight can not be depressed in all modes. For example when your delivery knob is in TGT FIND, the reticle will be caged to the RBL regardless of HUD Mode setting.
When you run into the situation, please send a screenshot of the entire front panel. It is probably easy to tell for us then why it is not "working".

Thanks, that's interesting, as one or two YT tutorials explicitly show the reticle being depressed to 63 mils with TGT Find selected. Was this restriction perhaps not implemented at initial release, as these vids are a couple of months old now? I have had the same behaviour in direct too when using MAVS (again intermittent). I'll be sure to grab a screenshot next time.

 

OK, scratch that...they set to 63 mils and the reticle doesn't move! Let me see if I can get it to happen in Direct mode again, it could well be "user error" on my part.
