lesthegrngo Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 Hi all, this may have something to do with a problem reported separately here I am trying to set the view commands, and so I go to settings > options > controls > views I see that I have two Bodnar button boxes, and they are filled out with assignments for view up, down left etc. I go to the controller list at the top, click on it then click on 'clear category' and all the assignments are cleared for that controller. I then select the assignments for the ones I want, click on 'save profile as', select the profile, and click to save it. There is only one profile, so it (as far as I know) should be the default, and since I have just saved it it should be the one being applied. However if I go to fly, the original bindings are still there, and when I go back onto controller settings, all the original bindings have reappeared and my chosen bindings are lost. 'Load profile' is greyed out How can I fix it so that my bindings are saved? Les

Les I am having similar issues, don't really have a "cockpit" but run a TM HOTAS, MFG pedals, 2 MFDs (TM frames) and an ICP, which shows as 7 different controllers. I save the setups (after clearing out all the garbage) for each plane but DCS keeps re-assigning things like views, rudder controls, fire controls, etc etc. across many of the devices.. Very odd behavior. Did that, still is populating (duplicating) axis assignments to most of the controllers. Only way I see around it is to "Disable" the categories I don't want auto-populated. Even when I save and Load a settings file, it just does it again by itself... lesthegrngo Posted September 2, 2024 Author Posted September 2, 2024 Yep, same here, as mentioned, even if I save it, it doesn't save the settings Les
lesthegrngo Posted September 4, 2024 Author Posted September 4, 2024 I got a response from someone on the Discord channel "You realize that if you OK at the bottom of the controller screen that will save ALL your new settings right? You don't need to use the profiles unless you're trying to do something specific with it and realize they are saved by individual controller column rather than the whole thing." So 'Save' does not, you have to use 'OK' instead....... Les

Does the diff files in Saved Games have the changed date altered? It seems that's the issue. Who owns the files?
