known issue F/A-18C Fuel/APU bug

Hi, 

I was using the F/A-18C Kola map, Kallax airfield. 

I ran out of fuel as I touched down, all was good refueled, and rearmed. 

The plane would not detect added fuel and would show zero fuel quantity. 

APU would not turn on as a result and nothing I did changed it. 

Used ground power and air, ground gen added 3 external fuel tanks 

I don't see any other reason for this to occur besides it being a bug. 

Sadly I forgot to record it but I don't think it is a difficult scenario to recreate.

Was reported long ago.  Even aside from that I doubt it's a high priority fix.

See this thread for a detailed description of procedure restart if you run out of fuel at an airport.  Tried it tonight and it works IF you follow the directions exactly (esp. waiting for before turning the EXT POWER switch to OFF).

Thank you, ya that worked. 

I didn't realize the same issue has been going on for the last 6 years.

I will keep this post just so others can see this is an issue that to this day has not been resolved.
